Overnight TV Ratings -- "Ugly Betty" Still Pretty

ABC probably expected "Grey's Anatomy" to be a strong second to "CSI" but both shows are flourishing -- proving that good TV will always find an audience. (And when two hits can coincide, it makes it all the crazier that the networks have abandoned an entire night -- Saturday -- to reruns and DVDs.) But "Ugly Betty" -- moved at the last minute from Friday to Thursday in teh smartest programming move of the season -- is doing just that opposite "Survivor." And talk about loyal fans! "ER" continues to win its timeslot despite weak lead-ins. But if "Shark" can get stronger, "ER" might be in trouble again. Here are the overnight ratings, per MediaWeek's Marc Berman.

8 p.m.
1. Survivor (CBS) -- 15.79 million
2. Ugly Betty (ABC) -- 14.18 million
3. My Name Is Earl (NBC) -- 9.91 million/The Office (NBC) -- 8.77 million
4. Baseball (FOX) -- 5.79 million
5. Smallville (CW) -- 4.6 million

2. CSI (CBS) -- 21.22 million

4. Supernatural (CW) -- 3.32 million
